I managed to get a hold of a Kittyhawk 737-200, don't know where from, but when I installed it and tried to fly it, it flew like a pig: with half-fuel and empty, it still used up almost all of 16R at KPAE and still would barely climb out. This was the beginning of my career of manipulating aircraft.cfg files.Having gotten into the.cfg, it was clear that the entire file was an outright mess: datum references all wrong, engine specs, weights & stations, everything.
After fixing it up, the plane flew like a dream, I still have it and still fly it, it's a great piece of -200 nostalgia to fly. There isn't really any freebie 737s I don't like.but this one was fun to get my hands dirty on.
