Ok, I've been researching this and I keep finding the same answer. Every article I read says that on fender amps after 1989, the 2 letters at the beginning of the serial number denote the year and the month (respectively).

HOWEVER, my Fender Blues Deville 212 starts with the letters 'LO'. This would tell me that the L stands for the years 2001, and the O stands for a month 3 months past December. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it as simple as reversing the letters? The L stands for the date (December) and the O stands for the year (2004)?HELP!!!!😁.
