Hello,After successful installation of the Windows 2012R2 OS, go to the server manager and Install the Active Directory Server Role: In server manager go to manage- add roles and features wizard - skip welcome - Select Role-based or Feature based installation- Select your local server - Select Active Directory Domain Services (including management tools) - go throughout the wizard and press finish. Note, that schema upgrade would take care by itself.After the Role installation you have to promote the server as an additional DC to an existing domain: On the flag on top of the server manager's console, there should be 1 notification. Press the flag and select the 'Promote this server to a domain controller'link.
Hi,There is no separate steps need to raise the schema while installing a 2012 server.Adprep runs automatically as needed as part of AD DS installation. For example, if you are installing AD DS on a server that runs Windows Server 2012 in a forest where all existing domain controllers run a previous version of Windows Server, then adprep/forestprep and adprep /domainprep run automatically before the AD DS installation on the Windows Server 2012 server begins. I need an install for Windows Server Enterprise 2008 32bit. I am taking over a contract and the previous techs did not setup the licensing site to download the software. When I go to the licensing site to setup the account and retrive our softwareit is asking for a license number and authorization number. I called microsoft and they are asking for the same. I called the vendor we purchased the software and licensing and they cannot track down the transaction. What I have is the productkey and have confirmed with Microsoft this key can be used for both 64bit and 32 bit.
All I need is the Windows Enterprise 2008 32 bit install CD or iso. Please assist.
